Other Import CompaniesNewest Review: ... We bought a Renualt Leguna Privilege for £15000 rather than the £18000 which we would have paid a Renault dealer and with a full manufactuers warranty. They have a huge range of all different kinfs of cars, so you will surely find something you like at a very reasonable price! We found the service very good and would recommend them to anyone. The only thing is you cannot test drive their cars so you need to go to a dealers first to the test drive and then buy it with trade sales. ... more |

Recently my wife decided to trade in her Yaris 1.0 GS for a higher spec GLS the vehicle (V reg) was only two years old and had only done 6k. Our local dealer whom we had purchased several cars of over the last few years did not give us a very good px value but we decided to purchase anyway as we thought we would not get a much better deal and payed £200 deposit. The following saturday I picked up the national newspaper to see to my suprise that trade-sales.co.uk were advertising the 1.3 CDX Yaris (top of the range)for £9400 that was only £400 more than the GS we had been quoted for. So no questions asked we decided to go the following weekend to have a look. ... Read the complete review

I imported a Ford Focus from Garage Delta in Ostend (http://www.ford-delta.com). When I was shopping around, their price was the lowest I could find, a good £1000 lower than any of the import brokers I tried like Hodgesons, Virgin etc. I didn't try for a quote any of the brokers who charged for just a quote, but from what I read on the Usenet newsgroups uk.rec.cars.imports (see http://www.deja.com to read this), I didn't miss anything. When you compare prices of an imported car, make sure you find what exchange rate they are assuming. This can make a difference of 5% to the price, which is a lot of the profit margin over going to a UK dealer or ... Read the complete review
