Advantages: None whatever.

Disadvantages: many millions are dying from cancer.

All these chemicals that are called POPS ,act as irritants to humans and animals ,we inhale them or eat them unknowingly in our food .
Some are now banned but are still in our environment,it was said in the 70s that DDT was in the ice at the poles .
Many fish and seals etc have developed strange illnesses, because of these.
Some of these pollutants :Lead ,Mercury,Cadmium,Arsenic,Aluminuim, these enter the food chain via the ground in food and water.
Lead ,chlorine ,dioxins ,sulphur,we can add to these some greenhouse gases Carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide ,clorofluorocarbons aircraft are responsible for these.

see :www.http//airsite.unc.edu/facts ,
and some others, some of these already mentioned:e 1998 Aarhus Protocol on Persistent Organic Pollutants (POPs)

The Executive Body adopted the Protocol on Persistent Organic Pollutants on 24 June 1998 in Aarhus (Denmark). It focuses on a list of 16 substances that have been singled out according to agreed risk criteria. The substances comprise eleven pesticides, two industrial chemicals and three by-products/contaminants. The ultimate objective is to eliminate any discharges, emissions and losses of POPs. The Protocol bans the production and use of some products outright (aldrin, chlordane, chlordecone, dieldrin, endrin, hexabromobiphenyl, mirex and toxaphene). Others are scheduled for elimination at a later stage (DDT, heptachlor, hexaclorobenzene, PCBs). Finally, the Protocol severely restricts the use of DDT, HCH (including lindane) and PCBs. The Protocol includes provisions for dealing with the wastes of products that will be banned. It also obliges Parties to reduce their emissions of dioxins, furans, PAHs and HCB below their levels in 1990 (or an alternative year between 1985 and 1995). For the incineration of municipal, hazardous and medical waste, it lays down specific limit values.

All animals and humans are exposed to these chemicals ,so no wonder we have an epidemic of Cancer ,caused by irritation of bodily tissue ,the body acts to protect by overgrowth of said tissue.
Also millions worldwide are affected by respiratory illnesses
like asthma because of these airbourne pollutants.

The Earth needs a good spring clean doesnt it ?
If you want to help your health Organic rice, vegetables, and beans will help ,for 4 days a week ,I dont recommend fasts ,because we start to put toxins into our bloodstream

I am personally being affected by more of a toxic load because a near neighbour of mine is dumping poisons in my garden back and front ,in the form of Sulphuric acid ,and chlorine sprayed onto my walls and windows late at night ,through His highpower hose .

as pionted out some of the substances mentioned are not organic but inorganic ..,but they are in our environment too ,and effect por food like the use of plastics.

I took the remedy Dioxin as I had spent years near this pollutant ...and what did it do gave me a form of influenza ...i had a fever for 2 days a very high one ...I wonder ,if some of these flus ???

I have been to the Police, the Council, and Environmental Authority for West Sussex, and nothing has been done about this 2 year old problem .
Also John Prescotts office .If anyone has the answer to dealing with this pollution I would be glad to hear from them.

I believe only God has the full answer see Revelation 11vs 18.

Summary: identify these substances ,and deal with them with diet.

Most of the substances mentioned are not what is labelled POP's.

The bit at the bottom smacks of seeing white mice and the like....
