Phillip Island is the home of the World Superbike and MotoGP rounds in Australia. It is comparable to Donnington in many ways.

It has a long start/finish straight and many curves where many Superbikers take a tumble. Racing can be very tight and riders often take themselves off.

It is famous because it is at this circuit that Carl Fogarty the British Superbike champ fell over his bike and broke his arm in several places.

Being an island it is affected by the rain - which adds to the excitement.
