The eternal debate. Which is better? pc or amiga? megadrive or snes? PS3 or Xbox 360. In my mind its all down to personal preference. My two eldest boys have an xbox each and they play a lot of online games like cod4 and halo 3. Several of my mates prefer the xbox again because of its online gaming. I myself own a playstation. I play online games like Streetfighter 4 and Little Big Planet with my younger kids but am not a serious online gamer. I decided to get a PS3 because of its multimedia capabitlities. I still remember the day my Dad came home with my Playstation 1. I was so excited to play it and looked on in awe as the opening cut-scene for Tekken played out. Then along came smash hit games like Tombraider, Rayman, Crash Bandicoot and lets not forget Final Fantasy. Just thinking about them brings a tear to my eye, the good old days. OK, let's look at this debate with some common sense. When the original xBox was released, Playstation2 owners claimed the PS2 was a better console.. Quite clearly they were wrong, every single statisitc doubled up against them, apart from the 'number of games', but who really wants to play 'Paris hiltons barbie adventure meets shrek the third on pineapple island'. This is a war of the worlds. The PS3 has the skill he freedom the power, the X-box has the power and graphics. Personally I prefer the PS3, my reason's are as such, 1 most on-line games are free to play where as the X-box is not you must purchase time to play, I find that's not fair, you have bought the game, the console and the Internet connection (unless you are naughty and use Wifi Jacking, Not-recommended).
