Sony's first console is brilliant. It brushed aside Sega's Saturn with ease, mainly because it had loads more games and better ones at that. The graphics it can produce are brilliant, with games Platinum games such as Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy 7 & 8 showing off it's capabilities. Sound-wise the Playstation is good, with alot of games having suitably effective music. The fact playstation can also play CD's has meant that Nintendo's console was no match for it. The Playstation games are also alot cheaper than the N64's, with the first range of titles selling at £7.99, and classic Platinum games at £19.99. This console is ace, but I don't reccommend you buy one. Instead buy a Playstation 2 when it comes out later in the year, because this will be even better.
