Advantages: Great gameplay, inexpensive

Disadvantages: graphically a bit outdated

The playstation has been around for many years now and is suffering at the hands of the Dreamcast, and now is threatened by the new playstation 2, I've seen the Playstation 2 and in my opinion it really isn't worth the asking price, at a fraction of the price the original Playstation is still the best you can get.
The graphics may not be as good as other consoles, but the gameplay is still superb, and the range of games is excellent, add to that the ease of use which allows even young children to experience the fun of arcade games and and it all adds up to the best value for money available.
