Ever since I was a small child I have been fascinated by puppetry. I remember a character, who I think was called Pepe. He was a small boy who had many friends, some of whom were animals. They usually appeared on things like the Royal Variety show, where three chickens would re-create a song by the three degrees or something. I think they also had their own TV show called Pepe and Friends. Anyway, since then the world of puppetry has always appealed. I am not a puppeteer, and I have never worked with a puppet professionally. Actually that's a lie, I had a scene in a play with medicine-addicted rat!
