Advantages: Improves acne wihtout pills
Disadvantages: dries skin
Quinoderm is a creme that is used topically for acne treatment. It contain benzoyl peroxide, and is the only available non prescription creme of this type.
Quinoderm can be bouhgt in two strenghts, quinoderm 5(5%benozyl peroxide) for sensitive skin types and first time users and quinoderm creme which contains 10% benozyl peroxide.
The creme is a thick paste and has a strong smell, however this does go away after a while. It is appled 2/3 times a day. I would definately recommend starting with the weaker type even though you dont think this will be as effective, its better than drying your skin out completely which will probably make you not use at as directed making it not as effective.
I have used this product and i would defintely recommend it to people who want to fight there acne without stuffing pills down their neck. I started with the 5 cremem and after i had used the tube i went on to the stronger stuff. Yes it dried out my face, and at first i had a red blotch around my mouth but after a few days this had gone and the drieness only appeared in the morning, a bit of moisturiser helped solve this!
I did notice a huge improvement after a while and thought i'd stop! big mistake! i recommend using through the most acne prone years as it definately improves it!
Overall thios product is fantastic value for money and at £3.70 at my local pharmacy its well worth it!
Summary: Definately worht a go, see what it does for you
