I don't know about anyone else, but radio adverts drive me MMMMAAAADDDDDD!!!!. Do you ever find that you would just like to sit down and listen to some decent music, but find that good stations like radio 1 are playing something you don't like? So you switch over to somewhere local or independant national radio, and all you get is hooouurrrsss and hhhoourrrsss of adverts. Okay, that is a slight exaggeration, but still - it is soooo annoying. Especially seeing as the adverts they play are quite often ones we're not interested in. 2FM (92 - 98FM frequency) is a radio station based in Dublin. It is run by RTE and serves the whole of Ireland, and can also be picked up in some parts of the UK or via their web site - www.2fm.ie. It is the only radio station I listen to now. I used to listen to BBC Radio 1, then stumbled across 2FM one day. After a week of listening in, I'd won a shopping trip to New York.
