rafa nadal. what a legend! being a spanish student i should favour any spanish sportsman when the english are down and out. however i wasnt a massive fan of his before last week. i wasnt bowled over by his presence on court and when somebody wins the same tournament over and over, in his case the french open, it begins to get boring. however that all flew out the window on sunday evening. his performance in the wimbledon final showed that he is the player of the year so far. ok we all knew that federer had it coming at some point, but the manner in which nadal completely humiliated him at the french open and then iced the cake two weeks later just shows how strong nadal ... When your talking about future sporting superstars you look for a few ingredients, as you do generally in any public feield, be it music, TV or movies.
