Pat Rafter is a Tennis Player. I have come to this conclusion, considering the evidence that I have seen him playing tennis. he has an advantage over other tennis players though, this is because he has a raquet, and other players have to use either thie hands, noses, or tongues, which is highly difficult. Having a raquet enables rafter to smask tannis balls down his opponents throats when they attempt a tongue volley, which can only be attempted after 10 years of intense training. to become a pro tennis player, you need to know your times table up to 5, and know the first three prime numbers. the times table is extremely important in tennis, because the ... The only sport that comes a fairly distant second to my love of motorsport, is tennis. There can be no denying that summer is upon us when Wimbledon fever hits the tv screens! So it was with pleasure that my 2 favourite tennis players reached this year’s Wimbledon final. Having thankfully and finally got rid of the ‘British Hopes’, I was left in a dilemma as to who to support – Pat Rafter of Goran Ivanisevic. No one can deny that Australian Pat Rafter is a popular choice in the tennis world with his rugged good looks (although these have diminished of late due to his lack of long flowing hair!!), laidback personality and of course his ... "Gday mate" said Pat Rafter when I met him at a Tennis open day in Tunbridge Wells about 4 years ago. I thought to myself,"typical Aussie.Corny lines". It was the opening of a new Tennis Centre of which my Father in Law is the manager and I got to hit a couple of balls over the net to him. I felt like a superstar for 30 seconds! But what suprised me about the guy was how nice and genuine he was. I can see why so many people got behind him at Wimbledon. He really is as nice as he seems on the TV. Signing autographs, posing for pics with people and cracking gags with his dry humour. But he is very very tall! He ... Read the complete review

As many people would already know that Pat Rafetr has been one of the biggest names in tennis over the past few years. Pat was born on the 28th of December 1972 in Mount Isa, Queensland Australia. He was born into a big family with 8 other brothers and sisters so he has learnt not to be too big headed and arrogant which has done a lot to his game. Pat is 6ft 1 and 175lbs so it enables him to manouvre around the court quickly and we have seen this in the past few years with a fantastic array of diving shots that are breath taking. He turned pro in 1991when he was only 19 and at the time that was quite young and not many people would of thought that he would ... Read the complete review

If Pat Rafter keeps to his decision to retire from the game of tennis at the end of this season, the game will not only lose one of it's most talents players, but also one of the nicest and down to earth guys on the tour. Pat Rafter was born in Queensland, Australian in 1972, one of nine children. He turned pro in 1991. His style of serve-volley play is well suited to Wimbledon’s grass court surface, but Rafter has had no joy there, being runner up twice, including losing to Goran Ivanisevic this year in 5 sets. Pat has however won two singles grand slams, both at the US open in 1997 and 1998, as well as a doubles title in his home tournament the ... Read the complete review
