Like most things in life, religion is humans interpretation of something divine. People feel that everything around them is so wonderful and impossible to create that there must be a supreme creator.

Now if this was true why would there be about million religions that hate people from other religions.

I give you two examples.

Muslims and Christians have fought for over 1500 years in the name of god. Muslims call god Allah and Christians call him god.

Millions have died in 1500 years defending their religion or being victims of their religion. Things are not getting any better, as more time passes since creations of these religions, followers are becoming more intolerant. Love thy neighbour has no meaning in modern world.

Recent examples:

Muslim clerics arrested because they were praying in a plane.

Christian leader in Lebanon assassinated because he opposed some Muslims in his country.

There are hundreds of similar examples happening every day.

I thought religions were suppose to bring peace and love to humanity. Instead it is having opposite. From everything I read I get the impression that religions are racist, intolerant and abusive.

I am sorry If I offended anyone. Please leave a comment and I will respond.

I have never been religious, my parents were atheists. I am open to any argument.

If you think your religion is wonderful let me know and I will examine it.
