Advantages: you save a life and gain a friend

Disadvantages: you need a home thats secure

It always annoys me when people tell me how much they have spent on buying a dog mainly just because its a hip breed to have or something. when there is so many dogs out there in need of re homing ( rescue dogs ) these dogs are usually free and most have nothing wrong with them, they just need a loving owner and somewhere to lay there head in safety and to feel wanted.
rescue dogs make great pets a lot of them may of been mistreated r uncared for will appreciate your care more than any other dog.
these are the animals we should be helping.
i have had a recue dog and he was the best friend you could ever wish for. not just a dog at all. he relied heavily on my care and keeping him safe obviously he had a hard time and was in a right state when i got him but he soon got back to health and became very happy.
There are far too many dogs in rescue centres that need re homing more than most there is a lot of greyhounds who make perfect pets and should be considered not just that small fluffy dog you may see, each dog needs a home and care .
i would recomend getting a rescue dog if you can. you are saving a life as some are put down after a time in some centres. and aso why give money to a breeder who is making aprofit when there are so many loving dogs out there sleeping night after night with no one to care for them in the mannor they should,
centres do a great job they feed walk and look after them but with so many dogs they need a owner to give them there full attention.
so if you can, get a rescue dog as they are in need of your help also if you cant donate something to one of the rescue centres every bit helps. you can even ask to walk the dogs which will help them out and is a good experience. thanks for reading

Summary: why buy a dodg when you can get a rescue dog and save a life they make better pets

I agree. All my animals are resued and I wouldn't change them for the world.

My current two I have had from pups, but my last dog was a rescue and she was a real diamond of a dog, she'd had a rough start in life but what an amazing girl she turned out to be.

well said, could not agree more. I had to pay a small fee for my adopted dog, but she's the greatest bundle of joyful fuzz I could want.
