Disadvantages: Road rage endangers and kills people every year

I was in full road rage swing this very morning. I was driving down the A419 ( a notorious road for speeding and car crashes) towards cirencester this morning at 9.30am when a man, who obviously thought that his owning a brand new silver mercedes meant that he owned the road, who was also talking on his mobile phone, came up behind at an incredible speed and began to flash his lights at me to make me pull over and let him go by.

The fact that i was just about to overtake a lorry in the slow lane aparently had no relevance whatsoever.

I was about 1 foot away from the bumper of this lorry when I realised that 'mercedes man' had no intention of slowing down and would quite happily have rammed the back of my poor little fiesta, so i was forced to pull over and break rather rapidly. 'Mercedes man' then proceeded to pass me (he must have been doing in excess of 90mph) and give me 'the finger' as he did so.

Oh how I wish there would have been a police car or mobile speed camera along that road this morning, so he would have got his just desserts.

It just doesn't seem fair to me that people like him who obviously have no respect for the laws of this country and probably, habitually get away with speeding and driving dangerously,never seem to get caught. Then, people like my parents who are going 53mph in a 50 zone get a speeding ticket, fine and 3 points on their licence. Where's the justice in that? I suppose at least their mistakes have taught me to be a careful driver. I never break the speed limit because I can't afford to pay the fine.

But then people who own brand new mercedes probably don't have to worry about that!
