Romantic DinnersNewest Review: ... Valentines day meal and had the best time. We ate great food, drank cocktails until we were bursting and watched a live band. Now to some that may not be romantic but to us it is as we can have such fun together. We always have a good night and now on our many travels we have been able to have romantic evenings in Hard Rock in Sweden, Ireland, Spain, America to name just a few. We only ever ... more |

When I think of romantic dinners I get images of beautiful restaurants, mood lighting, fine wines and French waiters for some reason. However in reality you don't always get what you wish for! Mr Sweetpea and I have been together some time and yes we did the whole bistro dining when we first got together but you start to feel slightly uncomfortable trying to feel posh and eat tiny portions! We have now quite a nice tradition which is our "romantic dinner" whereby we go to Hard Rock Café! Yes doesn't give the image of romantic BUT Mr Sweetpea and I can really let our hair down and enjoy ourselves, which to me is romantic enough! We went to Hard Rock ... Read the complete review

It was April 2008 and I had been with my boyfriend for a day shy of two years. Money was tight and I couldn't afford to treat my other half to a night out. I contemplated just going for the happy anniversary card buying option but as we had both forgotten our anniversary the year before (oops!) I wanted to do something nice. I arranged for my friends to take my boyfriend out with them in the afternoon so the minute he left the flat I dashed to the supermarket. I had decided to have a romantic carpet picnic all laid out for when my other half returned home so I entered the supermarket armed wth a lengthy list of essentials. Firstly, I ... There is no better way to land some seriously hot "sack time" with a loved one, or a new partner, than by lavishing a Romantic Dinner on them. I hate to harp on about being Italian, but this is another area (yes another, sorry) where we latin lovers excel, and some of this expertise, I can share. So as an idea, here is my example for a Romantic evening to sweep your partner (wether it be he or a she) off their feet. The combination of indulgent food, ambience and sensory excitment will, I gurantee get more than just their gastric juices flowing! First of all let me make it clear. A Romantic Dinner is much more than just lighting a candle ... Read the complete review

Valentines Day pizza, I think that this is a really cute way to spice up your regular pizza baking to make it a bit special this Valentine's day, and if you like pizza you'll find this one a real treat. It can be a bit figety to make and takes a bit of concentration to get the heart base looking good but when it is finished it looks surprisingly well. I found this recipe and tried it out at: http://recipes.kaboose.com So here's the ingredients: 3 cups bread flour 1 (.25 ounce) envelope active dry yeast 1-1/4 cups warm water 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, divided 3 tablespoons chopped fresh rosemary 1 ... I'm not sure that I've ever mentioned it before but I am renowned in the kitchen. Well, the thing is I am good with my utensils. Now that may sound like boasting but it's many a lady that’s been satisfied by my efforts. In fact, seeing as this category exists, I may even tell you about some of my shenanigans seeing as you've nothing better to do and me being at a loose end and all that. I always think it' s best to start at the beginning so I always remember my first date with Agatha. Agatha was a Swedish mud wrestler, best in her class and built like a brick..erm…outhouse. We were very much in love. In fact, I remember being particularly fond of her half ... Read the complete review
