Room 101 is an imaginary place. You can put all the things you dislike in Room 101. They can be serious or trivial issues. In this review I will write about what I have put in Room 101 and why.

First of all I’d put pigeons in Room 101. I know it seems strange, why would someone want to put pigeons in Room 101? I will tell you. When I was sitting quietly on a bench in the town centre, eating a sandwich for lunch, they came in large flocks, they surrounded me flapping their little wings, and moving their necks down to the floor to peck around some McDonald’s burger wrappers. This put me off my lunch. About an hour after when I was walking back the bus stop, I felt someone tapping on my shoulder. I looked behind me. Only to discover it wasn’t someone who was tapping me, it was something. Yes you’ve guess it; it was some white waste of a pigeons backside! I was disgusted; I had to put up with all my mates laughing at me on the bus home. I know that they can’t help it, and they don’t know who they’re excreting their waste on who not. Maybe if they’d stay away from me I wouldn’t have such a problem.

The second thing I’d put in Room 101 is TV adverts whilst watching an interesting program. When you are watching a nice episode of Coronation Street with a nice hot cup of tea, and the story is great. Then all of a sudden a commercial break is due. I find that when the program is only half an hour, and there is a five minute commercial break right is the middle of it; the gist of the story is lost. The advert themselves are so cheesy are dull, most of them are con people. I’m not going to mention any names but, some of the car credit, car loan, and accident help lines have very high interest rates. Some adverts make you just want to go upstairs and jump in the bed, the music is that tedious it will damage the poor little things on the side of your face! Personally I think they should scrap the commercial breaks altogether between programs, and maybe have a separate channel with them on it, for the weirdo’s who actually like them!

The third and final thing I would put in Room 101 is designer labelled goods. I have no problem with the goods themselves, but the effects they have on people and their needless expense. Nike for instance, if person A buys a Nike good, then it will encourage person B also to by the good. The Nike Company pays employees cheap labour in third world countries, and sells in richer countries for; god knows how much extra money.
When the price becomes higher people seem to think that there is something special about them. But they are just as good as something cheaper from ASDA say. At the end of the day clothes are clothes whether they are from DKNY or George. The price is fooling people; you are just buying the label.

For example ‘Sainsbury's Classic Cola 2 litre’ is priced at £0.64. ‘Pepsi Cola 2 litre’ is priced at £1.28. The difference is doubled. Why is that? Some people may argue that Pepsi tastes better but is it really worth paying double the amount for it?

If people would be more cautious in what they are buying and paying, then they would save a fortune!

Summary: Bits and pieces!

I have a fear of pigeons when they fly up in your face as you are walking along a busy town. I'm sitting here cringing as I think about it. Belinda
