Advantages: Absolutely none

Disadvantages: Absolutely everything

I found this surprisingly hard to write, I mean, I don't spend much time thinking about the things I hate because I hate them SO MUCH! Being a Pisces, I spend a huge amount of time daydreaming about lovely places, men, food, clothes and all that girly stuff. I have, however, come up with a few things that really get my goat. Here we go...

Octopuses
An odd subject to begin with I know, but they make me feel ill so I'll get them out of the way.
I'm well aware that Octopuses are one of the most intelligent animals, and frankly this makes them even more scary. They're big, pulsating, squidgy bags of super-evil intelligence with an array of legs which ATTATCH themselves to you. Imagine if they figured out how to live out of water...they'd be flopping around everywhere doing 8 things at once, whilst being able to tap into everything you're thinking and devising a plan to take over the world. To me, they're gargantuan underwater spiders and I hope I never EVER meet one.
Ungrateful people
Here's one that neither disgusts nor scares me, but it REALLY gets on my nerves. I'm usually quite forgiving but when I'm in a supermarket and I let someone pass me and they don't say thanks, I turn nasty. I detest people who, when you stand aside to let them pass, just stare forward gormlessly and loaf past at 0.2mph without an ounce of acknowledgement. I try to understand, I really do...perhaps walking is a great task for them and they must use all their concentration to make sure their left foot doesn't trip over the right. Or maybe they're just plain RUDE.

Bare Baby Bumps
I think pregnant women are beautiful, and I agree with men when they say that they look sexy. There is however, a fine line between looking like a glowing, yummy mummy and a tasteless preggers chav. Having a little bit of bump showing at the bottom is fine, I understand that it's often hard to completely cover a bump. But when a top has been specifically bought to expose the WHOLE belly, and there it is protruding in your face, it takes away the whole intrigue and beauty of a pregnancy. So what I want to see is Mum's to be covering up and protecting their unborn babies, but NOT hiding them away! Their is only a few layers of skin, muscle and fat protecting your baby from the outside world that they can't yet survive in, so look after those layers.

Spitters
There is no excuse, it's friggin disgusting. I don't know why people feel they need to spit everywhere, and I put it on a par with peeing in public places. Why should I have to dodge people's bodily fluids when I'm walking down the street?
Unfortunately, a couple of my friends spit when they're smoking cigarettes outside, and I don't have the heart to say anything. What I think I will ask them is 'Why?'...they don't walk to the sink and spit when they have a cigarette, so why when they're outside?
My main problem with spitting is that it's the PERFECT way to spread germs. Say someone who has a cold spits on the pavement and someone treads on it. Wherever they put their shoes when they take them off now has the cold virus on it, and there we have it- the cold is now a member of the family in 2 easy steps. In a word, gross.

Mick Hucknall
Before you say anything, it's not because he's got ginger hair. I love red hair. I also LOVE dreadlocks, so it's not that either.
Basically, his voice and his music makes me feel travel sick. He's redeemed himself lately by stopping being such a sleaze but there's just something about him.
My housemates last year presented me with a great birthday gift- a homemade dart board with a picture of Mick Hucknall (with a section saying 'Legs: 500 points for slow and painful death'...it was awesome.
Chuggers
I don't think anyone particularly likes these guys. If you haven't heard the term 'chugger' before, its tands for 'charity mugger'...the people who stand in the high street wearing tabbards, cornering innocent bypassers and making them feel guilty for not giving a portion of their monthly salary to 10 different charities.
I have no problem with tv, magazine and radio adverts that remind us of people who are in need and that we can help, but face to face confrontation is just plain emotional blackmail. I have given in to one of these people and ended up giving £6 a month of my measly student loan to three different charities. This was £6 a month that I needed for rent and food so I cancelled it when I realised I just couldn't afford it.
My main excuse when I'm confronted by a chugger is that I'm a student and I simply cannot afford to donate right now. I am also always keen to tell them that I have volunteered at a local Mencap centre before and I feel that doing this ensures I am contributing to society and helping at least SOME people who are in need. I much prefer investing my time and effort in helping people than giving my money to someone I have never met.
Another great excuse is 'I'm sorry, I have diahorrhea' and just walk away really fast. They don't like it, but it's an easy way out.

On that beautiful note, that is the end! *sigh of relief*

Summary: Urgh
