Advantages: I get to have a rant

Disadvantages: These things will never go away

Time for a break writing about movies and I'm going to have a bit of a rant for a change. I really wish I could banish some of these things to never return!

People who don't indicate when driving
When I walk to work at 7am sometimes, the road to work is very quiet. Some drivers seem to think that it's ok to not indicate at this time of the morning just because hardly anyone is around. Obviously if they don't indicate, I think they are going to go straight on and half the time I find myself having to run across the road because of this. It isn't the kind of thing I need at 7am!

Rude Customers
As someone who works in retail, I think it's unacceptable to be rude to the staff. I work in Thorntons and as you can imgaine, it gets really busy around certain seasons but this isn't when people are rude. At every normal time of the year we get so many rude customers in our shop, some that don't even say thank you. Some people place their products down on the till, or even worse, shove them in your hands and dont even say a word to you. They then slam their money down and take the change and just wander off. I don't see how it would hurt people to just be polite at least, I'm not asking for a full conversation but I would never act this way to someone working in a shop.

People with prams and pushchairs
Don't get me wrong, im not having a bash at people having kids. My town center isnt huge and a lot of people with prams and pushchairs seem to think they have the right of way and can do whatever they like. I find in certain small shops like Primark, that some of these people stand in groups in the middle of the aisles and just dont move for ages, making it really hard to get past and around the shop. Have some thoughts about other shoppers please!

5p's!
I wish they would get rid of 5p's forever. I dont know what it is that bugs me so much about them but i hate them with a passion. Anyone would think that counting 1p's is far worse but not for me. I make my staff only have 50's worth out in the tills at a time just because i dislike counting them so much. They do think I'm a little crazy now though.

English Summers
Ok, so it's been heavily raining where I live for 4 days now!! It's August and the last warmish day we got was way back at the start of July. My back garden is beginning to get flooded and I'm spending a small fortune in taxis to and from work because umbrellas just aren't doing the trick. It's very tempting to live somewhere else for the summer months.

Phew small rant over. I think i'll add more to this as time goes on and i find more things that really bug me :D

Summary: Really like writing this one

With you on "rude" customers, I think every one should work with the Great British public at some point and just see what an orrible bunch they can be at times.
No indicating and prams yess, with you there aswell. X

People who don't indicate, grrr, I agree. Nearly been knocked off my bike by many culprits of this one. All you have to do is flick your thumb, its hardly a lot of effort!!!

I work in retail too and people can be so rude. I can't stand it when you do a whole transaction with someone but they never once stop talking on their mobile phones! x
