Eeek I wonder how many people will think im a big humbug for saying this but i would put CHRISTMAS in room 101.Well at least the over commercialised version of Christmas.
Yes it may have something to do with having no money and three children that know how to sap every lasst penny out of me,or it could be that Im turning 30 in February.
I love the non commercial stuff about Christmas.Even down to the time of year it is held.I love feeling all warm and toasty whilst it is cold outside.I love spending the midday with my amily and the afternoon,evening with Other halfs family.
The Christmas dinner is about me getting back into my mums kitchen and getting stuck in to cooking whilst the children play with their aunty and uncles and my hubby chats with my stepdad.Whilst putting loads of toys together for the kids I will add.

I wait til I get home ,and when children are in bed we get drunk and play on their toys,lol.

So you may say this sounds strange to want to put into room 101 but here is the other side of Christmas that makes me hate everything else.



I hate how if you are on a low budget like we are ,you break your neck all year to pay for presents that will end up in cupboards and with pieces missing on bedroom floors.Buyingg people stuff you hope they like and have put thought ino getting them,but they dontt need it ,so never sees light of day.

I hate how most of us are only just finishing paying for Christmas year before when people start talking about the next one.

I hate the expense ,greed and waste.

I hate the level of advertising that increases towards Christmas making the kids bug me every 5 minutes with something else to say no to.

I hate wanting to slap other people when you have gone to so much trouble and they look at your gift like you gave them a lump of dog poo.

I hate giving neighbours Christmas cards and then recieving a floppy thin one that tells you they got desperate because you werent originally going to get one.Espescially hate this when pound shops do beautiful inexpensive ones.

There il stop ,you get the idea.I think Christmas should be about family ,food and fun.Not missed expectation,money,debt and frustration.

And I would like to add it breaks my heart that not everyone has someone to spend the day with.Some dont get a Christmas dinner.Dont even get to stay warm.And on Christmas day I always take time to think of these people.

Summary: Lets change Christmas.
