Advantages: Just a rant from me to make me feel better
Disadvantages: You probably will be bored by the end
I am only 24 but I am so the type of person who moans about just about everything when I am in an easily annoyed mood but my main pet peeves (or at least the ones right now) are:
Indecently dressed people
There are about 3 nights of the week in my town that have 'nappy nights' the under-18's or under 16's nights for the kiddies. It is like a peadophiles dream to stand outside, all the girls are wearing short skirts, nearly flashing everything, trainer bras on show and high heels they can barely walk in. And the most neon pink/green/yellow tutus, leg warmers and all manner of things you can think of.
How can parents let their children go out like this? I know mine certaintly won't be. There is nothing wrong with wearing skirts and dressing up but dressing like Jordan or Jodie Marsh is ridiculous
Yobs
In the paper recently a group of yobs stamped on a little girls puppy and killed it. The poor girl was bought the puppy to help with her problems and they killed it because it came upto them for a fuss. These yobs want to be stamped on and see how it feels.
Pram people
In my local town everyone with a pram thinks they own the path. I refuse to move out of their way if they are taking up all the room. I am not walking on the road and risk being run over by buses just so someone can have all the path to themselves.
I was in a store once when I moved a little out the way for a woman with a pram because it wasn't the widest aisle in the world, she didn't take a blind bit of notice and barged into me so hard with all the things hanging of the pram that it hit me so hard in the knee it completely took my leg out and I went down (happened to be a knee that is already bad from an accident). She just looked at me and didn't apologise so my mother went mad at her!
Lack of choice
In my area the only internet choice we have is one provider because they have monopolised the area. It costs twice as much for the internet but I have no choice but to pay it because I am doing an online degree with open university.
It is the same with the TV, no choice but to pay the TV licence even though the TV is hardly watched and we seem to have no say in what we watch because half the time it is repeats, news or just plain boring TV shows.
And my final pet peeve is:
Providing a service that doesn't work especially when you pay for it
I have a facebook account like many others and it does get to me when it doesn't work properly but it is free so I don't bother so much. It is when the internet won't connect, runs slow or keeps cutting out that bothers me because I have paid for a service. Same with the Sky, a bit of bad weather and it goes to pot. You would think with the amount of profit they get from us that they would try and do something to stop this from happening but it is always the same story.
Sorry if I ranted a bit and I can be a bit of a moaner sometimes but this ctually made me feel a bit better today
Summary: What I would put into room 101
