Advantages: we'll be rid of them forever!
Disadvantages: No more roast beef dinners
Here are my nominations for the room of doom! **** Cows I have a phobia about cows. Apparently, when I was a toddler, I tried to feed a cow some grass and it literally ate the cardigan from my back. Actually, my mother insists this was a goat, but I'm convinced it was a cow. Hence my irrational fear. I hate their stern expressions, their scary mooing and the fact that they stand dead still in a field and look menacing. That advert where the herd of cows follow the guy home because he has some milk with him has TRAUMATISED me and it should be banned! Into room 101 with cows...All of them! **** The Number 345 bus I waited an hour and fifteen minutes for this particular bus this evening, in a vain attempt to get from Peckham to Clapham in time for a reflexology treatment. In the end I gave up and went home. The people who manage the bus company that is in charge of this particular route should be shot...or at least tortured...well, maybe just shouted at a lot. And be doused in cold water for....ooooh...let's say an hour and fifteen minutes. **** People who talk/giggle/annoy others at the cinema or theatre Why do some people insist on ruining a film/show for others? Recently, I went to see a musical in London and a group of about five people behind me, who had obviously been drinking heavily, insisted on talking, giggling and even singing loudly throughout the entire performance. I and several other theatregoers complained about them and they were told to shut up by the theatre staff for the second half, but one of them then had the gall, the cheek, the sheer SELFISHNESS to drunkenly verbally abuse me at the end of the show because she suspected I'd complained. These rude, arrogant idiots should be thrown into 101, after the cows, and I hope they land in a giant cowpat. **** Sniffers I used to be one myself...But I'm now cured of the habit and like a re
formed smoker, can't stand it in anybody else now. There's nothing guaranteed to make me wince more than a loud and persistent sniff, particularly a wet gurgly one. **** Primark I've only ever been into this 'value for money' clothes store once, but that was more than enough. The ludicrously cheap and nasty clothes were strewn all over the floor, it was packed, smelly and your basic nightmare. I bought some tights, but they snagged as soon as I tried to put them on. Into room 101 it goes - at least the noisy theatre people will have something appropriate to wear. **** Pink Boob Tubes I don't care that Carrie from 'Sex and the City' wore one in an episode a couple of weeks ago...They will never be a good look. I will always associate them with sunburnt grannies at Southend Pier. Simply vile. I can see why so many people have written in this category - I feel better now!

- 08/03/02 It is a fun category! You'd have hated to be me yesterday; I went to feed a field full of Highland cows with the farmer! |

- 08/03/02 I'll have to do an op on this too. Seems like fun. Primark is a horrid smelly messy shop, but I have actually bought a few quite nice things there. You just have to search under all the piles! And it's VERY cheap aswell. |

- 08/03/02 Some intersting choices there. |
