It takes a lot for me to get annoyed with things in life, over the years I have gradually become more patient with people and don't tend to get wound up unless there is a relatively good reason.

Saying that, there are a few various things which I can think of that would go in my Room 101 if I had the chance, those would include petty things such as:

-x- People who waste their money on things which they do not need, just to crave attention. This particularly gets on my nerves when people who are famous flaunt their wealth by buying their partners presents, driving around in flash cars, but yet still craving for the attention that they desire. You are probably thinking what I would be thinking if I had just read that...but I'm not jealous...I'm not that kind of person. All I am saying is that yes, they are rich and famous, we realise that, but there is no need to carry on stirring things up, longing to be in the press and not being happy if they are not on Saturday's front cover of the National newspaper. An example of a famous couple who always seem to do this time and time again are Victoria and David Beckham. If they weren't married, I doubt that alone each of them would be as well heard of as they are now. With publicity stunts such as sitting on thrones at their wedding and hiring out a whole cinema for their son Brooklyn's second birthday party, it just goes to show that they cannot get enough of being out of the news.

-x- People who deny having plastic surgery when really they have. Stars such as Britney Spears and Victoria Beckham (yet we see her mentioned again in this op.) who say that they have not had breast enhancement or boob jobs when it is blatantly obvious to all, that they have. Either that or they have very weird over developing genes or hormones which suddenly fire off as soon as they reach the big time and their careers are going well. It is upsetting to see that Britney
(a pop idol to most young teenage girls, and a sex symbol to most teenage boys), is still (1 year later on) denying having surgery. When she released her first single 'Baby one more time' and she shot the video of her in a school uniform in a school scene, she was near enough to what you could call flat chested. In her recent release 'Slave for you' there is a dramatic change in this, what a surprise! If they have had the surgery then why not just admit to it? I mean, it would be better to be thought of as an unnatural beauty than to be thought of as a liar, right?

-x- People who think they are funny when they are not. I cannot stand people who try and tell jokes which aren't funny, but yet people laugh at them just to make them feel better. I once knew a girl at my old high school and she used to say the same jokes over and over again and each time her 'audience' laughed just to keep her confidence high. It is acceptable if you have a good sense of humour but if you obviously are not amusing then why not just keep quiet?

-x- People who use really bad cheesy unoriginal chat up lines. A few examples of the worst have to be...
'I like your clothes, but they would look better on my bedroom floor'
'If I wrote the alphabet, I'd put U and I together'
'I may not be Fred Flinstone but I'll sure make your bed rock'
'Did it hurt when you fell from heaven?'
I don't understand why they are being used when most people are really good at making conversation and don't need some 'out of a book' cheap way of getting someone to like them. Even so, I can't believe that it works. If someone came up to me with a load of awful chat up lines that sounded like they had it all prepared, then I wouldn't be interested in them at all. Can't people be more unique?

-x- I was on the tube this morning and It was all very rush rush seein
g as it not only was a hectic Saturday, but also Easter time when all of the children are home from school. There were lots of old aged pensioners around too, I think the warm weather must bring them out from their homes. One old woman (aged about 78 I would say), got on the train and had to stand up because all of the seats were packed full. I wasn't sitting on a seat myself as I couldn't find a space either, so I was holding the rail above me. The old woman couldn't do this because she was too short to reach. I couldn't believe that no one was offering her a seat...I mean it was understandable that no one was going to offer me one as I like to think of myself as fairly active...but an old fragile woman., well, I would of thought that someone would of had some heart within them. It's the decent thing to do, it even says it on the windows to offer the seats to people who need them more than you do, especially the disabled and older people. I know that if I was sitting down and had seen her get on the train...she would of been able to of had my seat straight away.

And finally...

-x- People who come on dooyoo just to gain some extra money. I must admit at first, that was one of the things which attracted me to the site but now I have got to know it better and realise that it is far beyond that. It is a form of making friendship, exressing your views and opinions and is not just a place to earn easy cash. I particularly think it is a bit shallow to post tons of opinions per day just to get up to that first £50 cheque. I mean, I don't mind whether people read what I have to say or not, 30p doesen't really matter to me, all that I am here for is to express what I think and to listen to others points of views.

I really liked this op. Totally agree with what u said about stars who deny plastic surgery - but admitting to plastic surgery for only cosmetic reasons would only show how vain they really are!
