the fact that football is in its long name makes it look bad (Rugby Union in General)

Advantages: fast, flowing sport, shames football

Disadvantages: too demanding to play if small i guess

I am going to spell it out loud and clear straight away so you can see this is a biased review...I love rugby union.

Rugby union is one of the fastest and most exciting games around, proving fun to both watch and play. It combines a very obvious physical element with a key role of tactics and is thus referred to as a game of chess quite often. This also means that a low scoring close match is quite often more exciting than a high scoring match.

Rugby Union is a demanding sport which means that professional players are very good athletes, both physically and skillfully. In my opinion the sport is much more respectable than football, for a start there are no over paid prima donnas in the game as nobody has reached the dizzy heights of the footballing payslips thankfully. Furthermore there is no simulation in rugby either which makes football hard to watch these days, and the the players are very regimented and obey the rules on the whole I would say, making it able to enjoy the sport in its purest manner.

Summary: much better than football
