Advantages: burn 300 cals in 30 minutes!!! fantastic for weight control

Disadvantages: none really, motivating yourself when its raining

Running is one of the best forms of exercise you can do if you want to lose weight and get in shape, no other form of exercise burns the same amount of calories in the same amount of time.

I have been running for 6 years now and I love it, I don't run on a treadmill because I think I would lose the will to live, but I love to get outside into the country and just run, its a great way to destress and have some me time.

Before you all think I am a Paula Radcliffe wannabe please, I was rubbish at sports at school and as long as you start off slowly and follow a structure beginners programme, anyone can do it.

The best thing about running is its free and you can do it anytime and fit it into your busiy life, all you need is a good pair or proper running shoes and just get out there and enjoy it!!

Summary: best form of cheap exercise going
