Salsa dancing mixes African and European dance influences through the music and dance. Salsa is normally a partner dance, although it can also be performed as a solo dance or a group dance with a set routine.

I started dancing when I was about 11 or 12 (about 10 years ago now) and although the Salsa was not and is not one of my favourite dances, it is one of the most fun and thrilling that I do.

I currently dance to the music of Aleshia Dixon - The Boy does Nothing, as this song has a great beat and rhythm for Salsa dancing. The moves to Salsa are relatively straight forward and easy to learn. Most dancing classes teach Salsa now, and many classes teach only Salsa alone.
