Pete Sampras is undoubtably the King of Centre Court at Wimbledon winning an unrivalved seven mens singles championships. He also broke the record for the number of Grand Slam singles titles. However, the prize that seems to hae eluded Sampras is winning the French Open. Sampras seems not to like this competition as it is played on clay, perhaps the reason he has yet to win at the French Open. However, this Wimbledon win has propelled Sampras in to the club of tennis greats. At 28 with seven Wimbledon titles in wight years, he is surely destined to become somewhat of a legend.
