Advantages: Really nice Santa , good Grotto

Disadvantages: None really

This is not quite the product I sugested doo yoo but it it the one that was created when I sugested Santa's Grotto at Worlds End garden centre Wendover near Aylesbury.

Santa at worlds end.

Who wouldn't go to the world end for their grand children? We did we traveled to the Worlds end with out grandchildren to see Santa, That is we went to Worlds End Garden centre on the B4009 between Aylesbury and Wendover in Buckinghamshire. Why well Santa was there of course.

Worlds End garden centre is a quite large sprawling garden centre. It sells plants seeds, garden furniture "country" foodstuffs has an Aquarian centre, sells pet cages and pet essentials, no animals though. . There's Garden furniture, Country clothing and much more.

Any way back to Santa. Santa is in quite a large Grotto /shed we went through the door into a darkened room with the children and were dazzled by twinkling lights. The children 6 and 3 were delighted by the snowy animal scenes.
We walked along a winding path past a house window scene with a life size girl model in bed with her Santa sack. This is where we met a queue of about 5 children with their parents waiting to go through some curtains.

We waited maybe 15 minutes and then it was our turn an Elf all dressed in green ushered up in to See Santa , this was no school boy Santa with a false beard but a real older gent with a full fluffy cotton beard and in a red suits plumped out a bit I think .

He was very friendly the children a little nervous grand daughter clung to her mother but my big boy grandson was awed. He soon got chatting away to Santa about toys he would like for Christmas.
Santa asked how old they were and delved into a present for my 3 year old granddaughter , He then delved into a different sack for my grandson . Santa had several different sacks for different ages girls and boys. We said good bye to Santa and went out through a different door where we were many more wonderful Christmas scenes

There was a polar bear express with the bear in a train. A teddy bear nativity scene and two toads in toad hall and some reindeer. I can not clearly remember all the little scenes, but they were well done. This really got me into the Christmas spirit. Now when we got to the end it was time to pay £5.00p per child.

So once we got out of the grotto the children wanted to open their presents. My granddaughter received a waterproof book with a clip on duck a bit young for her really but she liked the duck my grandson received a toy vehicle not very big. He was quite pleased with it, not over the moon but happy. He has so any toy cars. I thought the toys would probably cost about £3 -4 ponds in the shops so was reasonable satisfied as the grotto was really quite good and the children enjoyed seeing it and meeting Santa.

Overall this was a good experience. Next week I shall be taking my class of special; needs 3 -5 years olds to visit anticipate they will be delighted with the scenes in the Grotto and happy to see Santa?

There are Santa Grottos in many shopping centres and shops all over England some better than others , Santa is a busy man. This one in Wendover is quite good .

Make your childs Christmas magic and visit Santa somewhere. . Unless your child is like I was as a tot. I screamed and screamed when my mummy took me to see Santa . I would not let Santa into the house he had to leave my present stocking outside the back door .
Merry christmas HO, HO, HO.

Summary: Santa in his grotto in Buckinghamshire
