I am always looking for ways to save money. With 2 kids and a husband there are plenty of mouths to feed and bills to pay. Here are ways I try and save money.

I try and do shopping online and try and find voucher codes to get extra points or money off that hopefully covers the delivery costs and more. I save my tesco points and these can be worth 4 x the amount when used at places other than tescos. So my husband and I save the points to pay for RAC cover.

I sell my kids clothes that they grow out of on ebay and use the money to buy them some new clothes.

I send in tips to magazines and get between £10-£25 per tip used.

I try and save electricity , water etc by turning off lights and taps.

I spend a few pounds more on a great telephone deal plan giving me free calls at all times to landlines for up to 50 mins. Once 50 mins have passed I put the phone down and call them back for up to another 50 mins.

I search the internet on money saving sites for bargains and good deals.

I don't buy expensive clothes for the kids - supermarket clothes are ideal as they get ruined at nursery.

When taking the kids out for the day I try and search for buy 1 get 1 free on addmission prices
