difficult but worth it in the end (Saving tips)

Advantages: all put towards something good

Disadvantages: social life isnt as great

I am saving money to go away and have had to sacrifice a lot to save money. Firstly moved back into my parents to pay them £100 a month, that really helped! But on top of that I have gone from spending over £100 a week just on myself, to £20 a week!

I don't spend at all when i'm at work, take my lunch with me, and sometimes may treat myself to a drink or crisps, spending about 50p a day. I then put all my spare cash into a piggy back - its surprising how much it adds up! after 5 months I had £150 in there!

I stopped buying clothes, would just borrow clothes from my friends instead so I felt like I was wearing new clothes! When I go out I drink first, get a bottle of wine, get drunk, and go out with £15-20 including taxi home, and yes I would still get drunk believe it or not!

I then right reviews on this site and buy anything I need off amazon - saves me having to dig into my savings! and last but not least I am selling my car! hey it will be worth it when im off round the world!

Summary: hard work but know its worth it!
