Advantages: great in all departments
Disadvantages: none
Paul Scholes is one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, England, Europe and the world. He is gifted in all departments. He's a great passer. He can pass the ball 50 yards with accuracy without any real problem. He can tackle and hastle ferociously. He can score wonderful goals like his volley from the edge of the box from Beckham's corner. Although Scholes plays in centre midfield i believe he acts as a link between the midfield and the front two. I think Alex Ferguson does this to bring the slickness of a link man but also to keep the shape of the team, in a 4-4-2 formation. Scholes acn play up front if needs be or in his preferred position of centre midfield where he partners Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham. Not a bad midfield! Paul Scholes was born in Salford, Manchester on 16/11/74 and signed for United as a trainee and 18 months later he signed professional terms. During his early years he helped Man United's youth team win the youth team cup and finally got his debut against Ipswich on 24/9/94. So far in Pauls illustrious career he has scored 60 goals for Man United in 165 full starts. He has also been capped by England numerous times and has won FA Cup, Champions League and Premier League glory. Paul Scholes has enjoyed a successful career so far and i'm very positive of his future with or without Man United.
