Advantages: none
Disadvantages: He cheats
I am sick of Murray Walker and others singing the praises of Michael Schumaker. He may be a good driver, but in order to win or attempt to win he blatently cheats, (ie shunting Hill out of the race) on more than one occasion. He is arrogant about his ability, and condecending to others. When he has committed stupid and childish mistakes like overtaking in the warm up lap there are mass appeals to avoid penalties. When he is cought for speeding in the pit lane Murray walker will rant about it being a tradgedy - Why?, if he was the best driver he could control his acceleration. Last season his technical team made a stupid mistake by making a car part the wong and illeagal size. But after an appeal they got away with it. This was a clear breach of the rules, and in a sport with so much money involved and so many high wages to be paid the team should have been made to suffer. Again they just got awaqy with it.

- 22/10/00 You should rate based on the quality of review so giving SU because you disagree is not fair. Schumacher is the best driver since Senna, but that isn't difficult as there isn't a lot of competition. A lot of his success is down to cheating (title in '94 vs Hill) his reliable car and also the fact his team mates are not allowed to compete with him. |

- 11/10/00 In this sport where so much is at stake, it is expected that there will be a lot of controversy. However do you really think that the FIA are as biased as you seem to think, or that Shumacher could have got as far as he has by cheating??? Come on, you haven't said one balanced thing so I can't help but feel you have something against the guy. Since Senna, name me a better driver around (with the possible exception of Villeneuve) Thats why I gave the SU rating. |

- 22/09/00 i do not agree with you at all, although i respect ur views, he is the best driver ever, ok competititve but does that not separate the losers from the winners, the wannabe's to the legends. |
