The Scottish League Cup is meaningless; we've all known that for years, it has no European place, it's played at a time of the season when clubs are still trying to find their feet and all of the major clubs field their reserve team. But what really gets to me is the fact that people are now claiming that the Scottish Cup has become a waste of time? Is the Scottish Cup under-rated and under valued by Scottish teams these days? Answer is yes and no to be really vague. To the Old Firm it's undervalued, the can deny it all they want but they don't care about it really.
