Hi, everyone, I thought i would tell you about a man that i have been "in love" with for many many years. I even named my first born son after this man. This person is The greatest wrestler alive today 'Shawn Michaels' .

Shawn was born Michael shawn Hickenbottom on july 22nd 1965. Shawn as his family and friends call him, is the youngest of four children, two older brothers and one older sister. He was born just outside Pheonix, Arizona in a small town called scottsdale. Shawn moved to England when he was 3 months old. But had to move back to america when his dad went to vietnam. Shawns dad retired from the army after 25 years and they moved to Texas.

Shawn played football from the age of 6 untill he was 17 and was the captain of the high school football team. After high school Shawn went to the Texas State University were he partied alot. That was were he decided to become a Wrestler.

Shawns first match was in Lake Charles, Louisianna he lost the match. But there he met his best friend and former tag team partner, Marty Jannety. They spent all there time together. They travelled together and lived together. They were working for the AWA when the WWE phoned.

The Rockers debuted ain the summer of 1988 There first Pay Per View was at Survivor Series were they teamed with the British bulldogs, The hart foundation and the Young stallions.

At summerslam 1990 Shawn went out with his first injury at the hands of Hercules from Power and Glory. He was out with a Knee injury for several weeks. When Shawn came back he brought with him his new manager. The "sensational" Sherri. She sang with him on his entrance music (Sexy Boy). The one night after a match Marty Jannety came down to the ring and attempted to hit SHawn with a mirror but failed in his attempt and ended up hitting Sherri instead, which sidelined her.

Shawn without Sherri in his corner went onto become the Intercontinental champion defeating Davey Boy Smith,The British Bulldog .

Then Shawn's world came crashing down when he was stripped of his Intercontinental Belt in late September after being unable to meet unconfirmed contractual obligations. Before any of this happened Shawn was preparing to have several matches with the 1-2-3 kid(X-PAC) Besides being stripped of the title because he took a well deserved vacation he was also suspended indefinitely.

While Shawn was gone his "friend" Razor Ramon took over his reign as Intercontinental Champion. Shawn was reinstated in 1993 at wreslemania 10 Shawn wrestled Razor in a ladder match which Razor won. Shawn the entered the 1995 Royal rumble and after draawing number one he ended up defeating everyone and winning it to go onto face his former bodyguard "big daddy cool" diesel.. Shawn lost the match due to Physco Sids interference. Diesel agreed to a rematch.

Shawn was again sidelined for several months due to sid powerboming him several times.Shawns return saw him re capture the IC belt from Jeff Jarrett.

Then one night while shawn was out clubbing in Syracuse New York he was attacked by 9 men Shawn received a concussion. Shawn was forced to publicly forfeit his Intercontinental belt to Dean Douglas.

WrestleMania 12

Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart in a 60 minute iron man match up. He came sliding down from the ceiling and landed in the middle of the crowd. Shawn went hold for hold against Bret Hart. In the closing minutes of the 60 min. iron man match Bret got Shawn in the sharpshooter. The clock tick down and the Ref singled for the bell Bret Hart started to leave the arena with the WWF Championship belt when the ring announcer said the match must continue. So the match continued until Shawn super kicked Bret not just once but twice. The first one didn't have too much behind it but the second superkick allowed Shawn to get the 1-2-3. When the ref handed Shawn the belt he was on his knees and started to cry tears of joy. This was to be Shawns first of four times to hold the championship titles.

He lost the title to Sid after he attacked Shawns manager Jose in the chest with a camera. then the rematch

San Antonio Shawn's hometown is where the 1997 Royal Rumble took place. When Shawn walked down to ring side the people of San Antonio went crazy. This would be the last time Jose would be in Shawn's corner. Shawn was looking to seek revenge on Sid for what Sid did to Jose at the Survivor Series. Shawn took the tv camera and hit Sid with it. Shawn nailed sweet chin music and won the WWF championship belt for the 2cd time. but it was to be a short lived title reign. as he was forced to give up the title in an emotional farewell due to a serious Knee injury.

Shawn came back in 1997 and teamed with stone cold steve austin. Then after a fued between the new tag team champs shawn and stone cold parted ways. Then Came the birth of D - generation X . This was Shawn, HHH, and Chyna. They soon became the funniest thing on raw this century. Shawn then in an excellent match that i got the opertunity to watch in Birmingham Shawn defeated The Britsh Buldog in his home country to win the European champion. Making Shawn the first ever superstar to win all the major WWe titles and the only person still.

Then in the most contriversial matches in WWE history Shawn regained the wwe Title from Bret Hart in a screw job concoted by Vince Mcmahon to screw bret out of the title before he left the company for WCW.

Then at Wrestlemania 14 Shawn put on the bravest effort in the greatest match. Shawn was in great pain after injuring his back in a casket match with the undertaker at the royal rumble. He went out there knowing that this could well be his final match and the end of his career. With Mike Tyson s the guest referee shawn went onto lose the belt after a quick count from tyson.

11/23/98 Shawn Makes his return as the new WWE Commissioner. We all knew that he would probably never wrestle again so he took a smaller role in becoming a commisioner. Shawn left again after 6 months.

Then On June 3, 2002 shawn re-entered the WWE as part of the new NWO. This was short lived. At Vengeance 2002, Shawn entered the ring and confronted Triple H. The two reuinted that night and on the next night on Raw, D-Generation-X came back in their colors. H but then triple H turned , Triple H beat Michaels and signified that the old days are gone.

August 25, 2002, Summerslam, the confrontation between Shawn and Triple H. This match was a Street Fight, In a brutal encounter, a huge upset came. After four years of being shelved, Shawn defeated a fresh Triple H by pin to even his score. When everybody thought that things couldn't get more brutal after the use of tables, chairs, and ladders, it did. Triple H, embarassed by getting beaten by Shawn Michaels hit Michaels several times in the back with a sledgehammer. This beating sent Michaels too far that he had to be wheeled out of the arena on a stretcher. No one saw Shawn again while Triple H was handed the World Title by Eric Bischoff. Weeks prior to Survivor Series, Shawn returned and asked for a title match at Survivor Series.

when shawn said that he was entering Eric Bischoff's Elimination Chamber Match for the World Title, it meant that he would now be defying doctors' orders, it means that he would now have to return to the ring on a regular basis should he win and that was the exact thing that happened. At Madison Square Garden in New York, the unthinkable happened, Shawn was able to beat 5 other top Raw Wrestlers and gain the biggest prize in the sport. The Showstoppa was back, even if he was bloodied and battered.

The Game retaliated one month later when he regained the World Title at Armageddon in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match.

So there you have it that is shawns history in the WWE and now he is a full time regular on the raw brand. He will be at wrestlemania 21 facing Kurt Angle in what has been hyped up to be a great Wrestling match. i for one cant wait.

I am well and truely taken in by shawn michaels he is my perfect man he is now married with 2 children but i can still dream...lol......He is an extelent performer he has so much carisma and ring presence. He can light up an arena with his smille. Wrestling is what he is, He has overcome so many problems and so many injurys and defied doctors by wrestling again after several career threatening injurys.

His in ring ability is amazing he still has great strenght and speed for a 40 year old and to be performing every night and being on the road 85% of the year it has to be hard to keep a family life.

His Finishing move "sweet chin Music" is a super kick to the jaw which "knocks out" his apponants. He also does the best off the top rope elbow in the history of proffessional wrestling.

Anyway my hands are hurting now i hope this has given you an insite into the career of this magnificant man . I know i am a great fan and will be on my feet in April when i go to birmingham again to watch raw.
