Advantages: Medicinal purposes, great feeling when high of confidence

Disadvantages: often abused and causes accidents

hmmm Cannabis/marijuana/pot/grass or weed as it most commonly known as in the UK is a class C drug (unless in resin/most concentrated form) (Most commonly known species is Cannabis Sativa.)
The name cannabis comes from the greeks, the english word is generally Hemp
What makes people high is the compound THC present in cannabis. It is commonly used for religious and medicinal purposes. (for example in The simpsons weed homer, homer smokes marijuana to help his eyes)
Rastafarian's use cannabis and according to a friend some old Hindus use it in cooking in offerings.

As you know cannabis can not only be smoked but can be cooked in brownies and cakes, - (Can be bought in Amsterdam)

Ok thats enough of an intro and a show of to my knowledge.

i think cannabis should be the lowest classed drug in terms of legalities, so possession is not an offence but dealing large quantities or using pure resin (strong concentrations) can be.
The reason i think that cannabis should not be given a higher legal rating is because from experience I can tell you it just completely messes up your head for like 2 hours and maybe puts your own life in danger, - in the same way as alcohol would though. It does not seem any more dangerous health wise as Tobacco smoking is. as Cigarettes are the biggest killer (after obesity) and the main causes of cancer.

People I know have been on cannabis all their lives from very young childhood and are very nice people, they are more risk takers than others, but are friendly all the same and enjoy life, however I do not think it should be legalised as the entire country would be in a mess is people are blazing all the time; different people take it differently, some people are less effected than others, some in rare cases do get more violent this is because of the increase in confidence that you gain.

There is no addictive substance except the high you get from the THC, once you are hooked on that your life is almost ruined as it costs a lot of money to keep buying weed to fuel your needs, the only way to make money is by dealing and going onto higher class drugs that pay more like Charlie/aka cocaine.

1/8th of an ounce of cannabis may cost around £15.00, different people sell in different amounts and weights.

Cannabis should not be abused, I cannot see any law that suits cannabis except what they have at the moment, class C, i think its for the best though i know many many people disagree with me, its for the safety of our future generation, don't drink and drive, smoke weed and fly! - you understand my point!
(reaction times are much slower for some this is extremely dangerous)
I think maybe organised parties should be allowed to serve cannabis but the users should be controlled somehow.
Let me know what you think, I would love to hear your comments!

Summary: Cannabis is a useful tool in medicine and has been around forever, now the youth have taken it up..
