Advantages: Less dangerous than cigarettes

Disadvantages: Still illegal

In my humble opinion, the government have their heads in the sand with this topic.

When you consider the amount of tax they have levied on cigarettes, they have potentially another large tax inbcome source.

Over recent years, more than one medical body has stated the benefits that cannibis can have for certain medical conditions. They have also stated that cannibis is in fact less addictive, and less carcinogenic than the tobacco used to roll the joints.

The police would rather it was legalised as they can then spend their already stretched resources trying to stop proper crimes, instead of chasing so-called cannibis criminals.

Most people I know have tried cannibis in some shape or form, and they're none the worse for it. It is easily available, and is a pleasant change from alcohol.

The question that should be asked is, why won't the government listen to the people who know?
