Drugs in any way shape or form are illegal for a reason. Now I would vouch for cannabis being legalised if it was not for some of the idiots that use it. For example, do you really want to be driving your car down the motor way to find yourself behind some swerving idiot doing 10 miles an hour, completely off his/her face?? Me neither.

The effects of Cannabis are pretty obvious. A very close friend of mine is a completely different person. Affectionate, tired, hungry on a massive scale but most of all its like the life has been sucked out of him. Lying on the sofa barely absorbing the conversations going on around him. Only then to not remember them the next day anyway. I don't like to feel that I am not in control of my life so the lure of cannabis has never enticed me. I would be lying if I said I had not tired it, but I would never try it again.

A relative of mine suffers from MS and apparently cannabis can help with it's symptoms. She would never try cannabis in a million years but I would be interested to know if it actually did any good!

In summary legal or not people are going to smoke it. Even if they have to go all the way to Amsterdam to enjoy the pleasure. I think that people should have the right to smoke it in there own home, but if they are intoxicated and in a public place then they should be arrested and fined. I don't think cannabis is all bad, there's just to many idiots in this world that misuse it.
