Advantages: Medical stuff
Disadvantages: It can kill you.
The legalising of drugs like cannabis has been debated over the last few years in Britain. There are pros and cons. Lots of people are saying that if we let it be legal, the intake of the drug will go down because it’s not an offence. Some people need to be breaking the law one way or another. But this could lead to more problems because they will move on to another drug, which may be more harmful. There are of course lots of people saying that it will benefit the medical society greatly and ease lots of people of pain. So, let's say they let it be legal - to what extent? Can people then go and buy it down the local offie? Or will people need a prescription for it? In theory the statement saying, "Let's legalise cannabis” sounds not too bad, but the total possibilities on the outcome could be terrible. Knowing the British Goverment they will want to be politically correct, won't they. Especially now they are coming up for an election. They don't want to be seen as risk takers throughout the world. Other countries like Amsterdam have not made it legal but turn a blind eye to drug takers and concentrate on more important things. I personally think that it should be legalised, but only on prescription. I also think that the British Police should turn a blind eye so that the drug takers themselves are not under so much pressure. I have one little motto about drugs. If people want to take drugs and harm themselves then that’s fine to me. But when it starts to get other normal people involved I think it's terrible. That's my opinion, tell me yours, leave me a comment. Thanks for reading Barber72
