Cannabis is and will remain to be seen as harmful as long as the government choose to ignore all of the research and information regarding the drug. I read a very interesting article a while ago that said if all drugs(including alcohol and fags) alcohol would be above cannabis in class, as would cigarettes. This tells me as a regular user what I already know. When you smoke cannabis, it is your choice. You don't have a spliff, and then go out and start fights and arguments with people, neither do you turn into a total recluse, waiting in vain for your next 'hit'. It really annoys me, the way in which tokers are percieved to be like( dirty, lowlife creatures, who eat far too much junkfood!)pretty much everyone I know has tried or smokes cannabis. And unbelievably none of them has turned into a red-eyed thief, robbing Mcdonalds for munchies.

Cannabis is a weed, it grows pretty much everywhere, and it was used to generate a lot of revenue through hemp products and medicinal purposes in the 1800's, so why has it been banned? The police are fighting a losing battle, and they know this, which is why you are unlikely to be arrested for small amounts. Why should people's minds be made up for them by the government, when it is our right as intelligent people to make our own minds up. The theory that does not hold water with me is that cannabis leads on to harder drugs...BULLS**T!! If you had any sense what so ever, you would make your own mind up about other drugs too. Just because I smoke cannabis, doesn't mean that I want to try pills, LSD and heroin.

If you smoke cannabis, there is always paranoia involved, because of the law. I think people should be entitled to make their own minds up, and enjoy new experiences.
