cannabis is a drug that induces calm behaviour so why shouldnt we legalise it. Alcohol which could also be classed as a drug induces violence so im my oppinion is much worse. If we legalised cannabis the goverment would be able to make money from it, they would be able to control the strengths on sale and would be able to put ...

Cannabis is a completely natural drug which grows naturally in various parts of the world, in some parts it is rife. Tobacco is also a naturally growing plant. So how can governments distinguish the dangers between each one? But then again I could go on to state that the coca plant grows naturally, though the drug refined from it holds a very ...

Majority of the nation will say yes to this. Most of police force chiefs have this view and in private most of Brown's ministers have same view. Cannabis is bad as cigarettes. In fact one can argue that it contains properties which can slow down smoker's reactions, make smoker delusional and at worst cause schizophrenia. I ...

Okay, I have wanted to tackle this subject for a while but it is a bit controversial so I have waited but I think I can add something to the on-going debate. Firstly I have to admit to partaking in cannabis on a daily basis. No doubt this will come as no surprise to many members but it may shock some people and I hope no one is offended ...

~~ Therapeutic benefits ~~ Although overuse of cannabis can have an adverse effect on health, it is not as harmful as many of the class 1 drugs. What's more, there are indisputable health benefits. Multiple sclerosis sufferers seem to benefit greatly from the administration of the drug and cannabis appears to be able to help reduce the side ...

I believe that cannabis should be legalised, as it is in cities like Amsterdam - where people over the age of 18 can buy it in registered cafes. This would ensure that the growing of cannabis could be controlled - many of the pesticides used on cannabis plants are very dangerous and this could be stopped; it would mean that decent people wouldn't ...

Well me myself I hate anything to do with drugs. I am 19 therefore I am not old fashioned, however I still disagree with anything to do with drugs. Why do people want to abuse their bodies in the way which they do. Why put things into the body which it doesnt need. Look at it this way, woud you put diesel into a petrol car. No, becuase it wouldnt ...

I believe that cannabis should not be legalized because it wrecks lives and will continue to do so and why add to the problem and make it more readily available to people. I appreciate the fact that it has been tried and tested on people that are unfortunetly ill and in a lot of pain. In this incident taking cannabis is fine as long as it is ...

Cannabis causes long term damage to the brain. It is worse than smoking cigarettes. Cannabis has more harmful chemicals in it. Long term use will cause cancer and it will damager users brain. Government made a mistake when it declassified cannabis. People will assume that it is a safe drug to use. It is not safe and it is not ...

It is rather apparent that one argument for keeping marijuana criminalized is to prevent yet another mind-altering drug from becoming an easily accessible commodity on the open market. Yet that very premise is one that would support the prohibition on alcohol-liquor, beer and wine. One is correct in stating that freedom requires ...

So we all know that cannabis (marijuana, skunk, pot, weed etc) is a drug. Let's just have a look at that thought for a while. A drug is defined as a chemical compound/substance that can physically or psychologically alter the structure and function of the body. Cannabis, in all its hazy glory, contains the main ingredient THC (that's ...

Smoking is bad for you, drinking is bad for you, eating fried foods are bad for you and living by a main road is bad for you. They are not illegal, so why is canabis? It Leads to harder drugs? Hi, Lets just say it would be much easyer for the goverment to make canabis legal and put a tax on it(which wil make them money) rather than them having to spend 1000s of pounds a year to try and ban it and having to arrest people who take it.
Don't you think?
make canabis legal its less harmful than alchohol and tobacco period.

This debate has been around for many years, should cannabis really be legalised? There are both pros and cons to this argument and therefore it makes it so much harder to comment on it. In my opinion cannabis should be legalised, they have already downgraded the drug; I think it’s just about time they scrap it and make it legal. The cannabis ...

Legalising cannabis is a very touchy subject. Yes, you could say smoking is more harmful and could argue that everyone takes some kind of drugs, if they take prescription medicines or painkillers for example. But is legalising it the answer? Perhaps it would reduce crime if it was available freely. It is argued that drug users who smoke ...
