Say you dont smoke.

Would you think its fair to have to breathe in everyone else smoke... and damage your own body?
If someone really looks after their body and skin and then goes into a pub - to be surrounded in second hand smoke. Thats not fair! They have taken the choice not to smoke - so why should they be breathing it in??

To be honest, we have known for many years now that smoking is utterly bad for you... this is why I dont understand when my grandmother says "back then it was fashionable..." - yeah now it ain't gran.. its ugly, smelly and could be VERY painful in the long run... so stop.. then she will add.. " it's a violation of our human rights not being able to smoke where we want" - ummm not really, what about people who dont smoke... isn't it a violation of their rights to be breathing it in against their will?

People die from smoking related illness everyday, CANCER namely.
Now I know many people who have had or have got cancer. Most of them have died. So it does annoy me when people get told on a regular basis how bad it is for you. "i'm addicted i cant quit" so your addicted to the 0.1 of nicotine or then 10 of carbon monoxide?

Even now days with all the information about smoking at our fingertips - young people, even children - smoke. They contain rat poison, bleach - generally things which are dangerous to consume yet people still put in it their mouths.

Yes I think it should be banned in public places - and i'm glad they have to go out side in the cold and rain to have a fag - maybe they should give up if they dont like it?

ok ok... this review may seem very anti-smoking. Would you believe im a smoker? It's a disgusting habit - most would agree. It kills, not only us but the people around us.
My Gran will not listen when the doctor tells her to quit or die in a few years. this is the reason why I am now so against it.

Kill yourself not everyone else.


UPDATE - I no longer smoke! Hurray! My opinion stays the same though, I am glad that I can go into a pub and come out without stinking of smoke, or having a bad chest due to all of the second hand smoke I have consume unwillingly. My skin has improved soooo much, I can run for longer - I am generally a lot fitter than when I was a smoker. My gran is also giving up - she has a sneaky odd one every now and again. But I am so proud of her, as she has listened to the health professionals!

Summary: my opinions about this controversial subject!
