Advantages: Smoke free places

Disadvantages: Tobacco companys suffering

I am so glad this law has been passed. As a none smoker going out to pubs and clubs meant passive smoking and also at the end of the night going home and smelling like a dirty ashtray, not a nice smell at all.
When you walked into a pub there would be a fog of smoke which wasnt pleasant for the none smokers and baning smoking in public places has meant that you can go somewhere and not come out smelling of smoke.
There are lots of people that do smoke but public houses have smoking areas outside of pubs, quite often under shelter as public houses are obviously concerned that the smoking ban will loose them customers, this is not the case though.
More and more people are now giving up smoking due to the ban which is obviously good for peoples health and obvioulsy the tabaco companys are suffering, but at the end of the day the smoking ban is a good law.

Summary: The ban against smoking
