Dirty habit (Should smoking be banned in public places?)
Member Name: Weelassie
Advantages: None - oh! provides money for government Disadvantages: can kill, expensive, dirty I hate the smell of smoke! There is nothing worse than being a non-smoker and coming home after a good night out stinking of smoke. I used to go Clubbing , the pub etc and after a night out would always have to come home and wash my hair. It's such a dirty habit and so unhealthy. It is so unfair for non-smokers to be subjected to something that is so bad for you. Smokers made the choice to smoke. It's great now because you can visit these places and breathe. however, I really don't like the fact that you come out of a building , particularly office buildings and find loads of people smoking by the entrances. It's revolting to even have to walk through a cloud of smoke. I think it's fair to say that I am against it in every single way and with good reason. My mum's best friend was a heavy smoker and is now paying the price. 2 months ago she was diagnosed with lung cancer and they cannot operate as it is so close to the heart. She has been undergoing intense chemothertapy and radiotherapy in the hope to prolong her life. She has been told she will be lucky if she survives another 3 years which is so sad as she still has so much to look forward to! I apologise for being so blunt but if this review stops even just 1 person from smoking then it will have been well-worth writing. Summary: how important is your life? |
