Should the West bomb Irans nuclear program?

Newest Review: ... are already stretched really thin on the ground in both Afghanistan and Iraq with little hope of being able to pull out in the near future unless they want to leave a state of civil war behind. There is a certain hypocracy in the west when it comes to other countries having a nuclear ability, after all France are the largest nuclear power in Europe whilst there is no outcry about the nuclear capabilities of Pakistan and India whilst there is a bit of sabre rattling when it comes to Korea however there is no possible liklihood of an attack on them even from neighbours China. For me war is not the answer, what is needed as is shown in the ca... more

I guess the answer to this question is yes if you are after creating another major war, this time against an even stronger nation militarily that Iraq and at a time when existing forces in the West are already stretched really thin on the ground in both Afghanistan and Iraq with little hope of being able to pull out in the near future unless they want to leave a state of civil war behind. There is a certain hypocracy in the west when it comes to other countries having a nuclear ability, after all France are the largest nuclear power in Europe whilst there is no outcry about the nuclear capabilities of Pakistan and India whilst there is a bit of sabre rattling ...  Read the complete review

When I was a kid one of the neighbor kids got a brand new shiny bicycle for Christmas. He was so proud of it. I knew good bicycles from bad bicycles since I was a prominent BMX racer in my youth. This bike was no where near the quality that any of the four I rode was, but this kid was far too dumb to even realize it. His family really did not have much money at all and it retrospect I realize it was a huge sacrifice for his single mother to purchase it for him. I am guessing he probably got it from some charity. I did the only thing a person in my shoes could do. I broke into their flimsy tin shed at night and stole the bike, of course there was nothing on th bike that ...  Read the complete review

Iran should never be allowed to make nuclear bombs. Can we stop Iran from making nuclear weapons? Why does Iran need nuclear weapons? And finally the political and security implications with Muslim atom bomb. In ideal situation Iran should never be allowed to make nuclear weapons. Israel has them. Situation with Israel is different. It is a small nation facing hostile countries all around its borders. Nuclear weapons is a threat to Arabs not to invade. However, because of the nuclear weapons Israel feels superior and is probably at fault for not making peace with Arabs. Similar situation will develop if Iran acquired nuclear capability is not Israel that ...  Read the complete review

It’s a disgrace!!! British people abroad being tortured and beaten with clubs by masked henchman and then locked away in a foreign jail, merely for crossing another countries border! But that’s enough about Manchester United in Europe, how about our boys coming home from Tehran in those cheap suits! The hostage crisis in Iran exposed just how aimless and morally wrong our invasion of Iraq was. Fortunately a deal was done and our boys and girls (guess who was doing the map reading!) released, tensions raised and then deflated, typical Muslim diplomacy. No false dossiers on Iran’s WMD program (they have a big one); no UN backed calls for an invasion were needed ...  Read the complete review

In response to Kenjohns review I have to broadly agree with him. Shia Islam is very unstable and fanatical. The regime that controls Iran is made up of fundamentalists. It can't be compared to any European or Western government. Only comparison I can see is between BNP and the Iranian regime. Iran with nuclear weapons will be trouble for all of us. First victim of this regime or any regime in Iran will be Israel. Wiping Israel off the face of the planet is number one priority for most Arab countries. Iran is on top of this list. Can we live with a nuclear war. Any nuclear attack will affect all of us. Problem is bigger than ...  Read the complete review
