Sittingbourne FC, who used to play at the highly impressive Central Park Stadium,had a terrible season last year. They finished bottom of the Dr Martens Eastern Division League and were due for demotion to the Kent League. They got a last minute repreive when both Baldock and Witney Town resigned from the league. Sittingbourne,whose nickname is the Brickies, first started playing back in 1881.
