Snetterton is my home circuit and is located 10 miles north east of Thetford on the A11 from London to Norwich. The circuit is one of a number of race circuits (along with Brands Hatch, Cadwell Park, Oulton Park and Bedford Autodrome) owned by MotorSport Vision. The first race meeting at Snetterton was arranged in 1951 by the Aston Martin Owner's Club. The track had been cobbled together from a network of runways, which formed the wartime base of the 96th US Air Force Bomber Group. The site is open, flat, desolate and susceptible to strong winds. I recently attended my first ever race day as a corporate client in Snetterton's Hospitality suite. So this review will cover my opinion of the circuit itself, the hospitality facilities that Snetterton provides (in case you were considering holding a corporate event there), and my views on this kind of motor racing in general. Snetterton is now part of the Octagon Motorsports group who run several tracks around the UK, including Silverstone and Brands Hatch.
