DCH2008 Speed Cameras and Speed Limits
... m gonna add my opinions to this debate I think that all speed cameras should be taken out of service. Why? Because I don t think they have anything to do with road safety at all as all drivers will check their speedometer regardless of whether they re over the speed limit to make sure they re not exceeding it - taking their eyes off the road ahead and making them less able to respond to potential hazards/danger. Speed cameras can not detect if someones driving under the influence, on the phone, eating, drinking, tailgating, if the drivers got a licence, insurance, road tax, even driving aggressively/recklessly (you don t have to drive quickly to drive in a manner of...

... my bag today.... Now I ve only been to the Freshers Fayre and Tesco today so here goes! THE BAG ITSELF It is an enormous black patent GIANT thing from French Connection (okay it was actually bought from TK Maxx and on sale, but nevermind!) - it has chain handles and I have attached a charm to the bag. THE CONTENTS 1.Mobile phone - for obvious reasons 2.Room and hall of residence keys - because I do want to come back in later! 3.Purse - containing...cash (not much), bank cards, store loyalty cards, gift cards, vouchers, driving license, student card 4.Various flyers and leaflets f...

clamped Parking Fines and Clamping
... must admit I do not believe in clamping unless someone parks dangerously. I recently was clamped in Morecambe on a private car park , I was only popping into a shop near by I was only minutes. I would have paid a fine of £30 but I nearly had a heart attack as the price was £125 to unclamp. I felt that if I had been a 6ft 2in body builder I would not have received the same treatment .As it is I am an old age pensioner and that amount is more than my old age pension per week which pays all my bills etc.I believe you get less to pay if you mug an old lady so where is the justice in this system, The wheel was clamped immediately I left the car park which stinks,I am writing...
