Introduction: I am 17 at the moment and lived in Southend for most of my life (moved away last year), and have been a keen supporter and follower of the club. I started supporting them from when I was born as my Dad is and always has been an extremely solid fan for the team. Of course in my time as a fan there has been a lot of change and lots happening with many ups and downs. The club itself, now over 100 years old has also had its big wins and grave losses. Another of my Away fan's guides....... Southend. Home of Long piers, boy racers and sticks of rock beside the rather murky sea/estuary. But wait, are we not forgetting a football team?
