I, think Spain are the under-acheivers of european football, they have so many class players but when it comes to the big tournaments they seem to crumble. They had a poor opening start to euro 2000 with a defeat to Norway, which must have been depressing, as they defended and showed no attacking side. Ok, they got to the quarter finals, but a country which boosted two champions league finalists, how come they didn't produce on the international scene.
I, think Raul is a tremendous player, one which will play for Spain for years to come.
