Speedin' my arse, extra taxation more like ! (Speed Cameras and Speed Limits)

Ok ! What the hell is going on ? I see nobody has written any opinions on this for a while and they all seem to be, "ooh yes speed cameras are a good idea" or "it saves lives you know", well 12 months after the last opinion was wrote i thought this issue needed some updating !

Speed cameras suck, even my mother who has been a law abiding citizen her whole life has been zapped by these soddin' things (36mph in a 30). She now spends more time lookin' at the speedo' and lookin' out for cameras than she does watchin' the road, thats great news for pedestrians, NOT !!

Look, i'm all for road saftey, but this isn't the way to go about it my friends, statistically most people get flashed in peak travel times, is this because there are more cars on the road ? No, well partly, but the reasons are as follows:
1) Public transport sucks so badly that;
2) We need our cars to get anywhere, which;
3) Leads to congestion, road rage & bad drivin'.

Ok, so there's more to it than this but has anyone noticed that fines have gone up from £40 to £60 ? It's easy taxation for the government, which incidently don't want to see a reduction in speed related offences, as it brings in almost as much revenue as the tobacco industry and they would be stuffed without it !

Whilst i'm havin' my two pennys worth i have noticed a belting spot around Manchester where a speeding motorist could get banned on a 2 mile journey !! All of these cameras are positioned, not in accident blackspots o' brothers and sisters, no ! These cameras are tactically poistioned behind road signs and trees, so they don't actually deter people or make them realize that there speeding, but just catch them out i.e. raise revenue for the bloody politicians !

What else ? Oh yeah, the number of these things appearing everywhere is staggering, i believe at this rate in a couple of years time there
will be more Gatso's than cars !
It's pretty damn tempting to do a "Cool Hand Luke" and cut the heads off the buggers, but i don't think i could eat 50 eggs !

Well folks, that's it for now, wish me luck on my journey home, i might just get banned !
