St Georges Day

Newest Review: ... ordained at approximately 400ad. Why do I care if this Country celebrates St Georges Day? I am personally proud to be English and believe it is our right to have a day dedicated to the great Country in which we live in. I am not alone either, if you visit http://www.stgeorgesday.com/home then you will see the kind of support that this has received. Of our near neighbours the Irish celebrate St Patricks day with gusto (both in the Republic and wherever else the Emerald isle folk find themselves), the French shut for their Bastille Celebrations and topping the celebratory list must be the Spanish who celebrate their saints days in the most remarkable manner. And the English? Well, it seems we've gone astray. When you start talking of those who stand proud of their nation one thinks of the rowdy tourist ...  Read the complete review
